It has been a very good competitive Spring for some of my pupils.
Jill has recently won five competitions at Burley Golf Club in the beautiful New Forest, Hampshire, Uk and she has had her handicap reduced from 36 to 28.
Agnes has won her first trophy of the year by scoring 40 points at Dibden Golf Club.
Helen joined the lovely Parkstone Golf Club in Dorset, UK this year and in her last medal, she had a net 67 playing off 36 handicap with an 11 on one hole. Helen won the medal and has had her handicap reduced by four shots.
Another Parkstone member, Morgan, has had his handicap reduced from 23 to 1 over the last three years and he recently won a 36 hole medal competition with the first 16 players going on to compete in match play to see who becomes the club champion. A great achievement as Morgan is only 16.
