Three Minute Videos
My philosophy is that a golf shot is created by the swing and the swing is a series of moves in the correct sequence
These practice moves videos are all less than three minutes long and can be practised anywhere – many without having a golf club in your hands.
All of these moves relate to the complete swing.
The videos are exclusive to subscribers of Peter Thompson Golf and are not available on any other website.
Using a mirror position the ball 2″ inside your left heel. Move your head to your right until your head is behind the ball for all full shots.
Use a mirror so you can see that your left arm and club are in a straight line – use any club. The line should be angled slightly to your left.
A sure fire way to ensure you are aiming where you want the ball to go.
Feet together. Ball opposite ”V” in toes. Left foot 2″ to your left & turn the foot out 20 – 30 degrees. Right foot to your right right & at right angles to the target line. The longer the shaft the more to your right your right foot will go.
Wide is always better.
Pretend to throw a ball or a discus and your weight will move to your right side, then to your left side and you would then throw the ball or the discus. The weight shift happens automatically – as it should in a golf swing.
