Hayley Davies has won her fourth professional tournament by winning the Cape Town Ladies Open at the Atlantic Beach Links, Cape Town. South Africa, 15th – 17th of February 2023.
Hayley won by three shots in very strong winds up to 40m.p.h. Hayley has a world-class impact position so I was not surprised that she won. In strong winds, if the shaft moves in front of the left arm at impact the loft angle of the club increases and so does the backspin on the ball with disastrous consequences.
Hayley has her right hand well past the ball before impact so she flights the ball beautifully.
Top Tips 8 & 52 are worth viewing as they both relate to the impact position.
