I had a text message recently from one of my pupils to say he has just had the best score of his life – a gross 65 at the Newbury and Crookham golf course ( established in 1873) in Berkshire UK. Philip also had a gross 66 at the lovely Ferndown Golf Club, Dorset, UK.
I have taught Philip since he was 12 years old and he became a scratch golfer. It is always very satisfying when my students achieve their best scores and I am sure he can produce an even lower score.
