Jamie Anderson won The Open in 1879, 1880 & 1881.
The last three Open winners have been Cameron Smith in 2022, Colin Marikawa in 2021 & Shane Lowry in 2019. The 2020 Open was not played due to the Covid – 19 pandemic.

The golfers with the best techniques will always be the best golfers whatever the clubs they use.
I believe that many golfers now expect far too much from their superb equipment and completely forget that the basics, stance, posture, grip, alignment, and the back swing compromise 95% of the shot whatever club they are using.
You will probably know that my lessons are based on the basics and it really does work so please enjoy your great clubs but you have to do all of the work.
