One of my pupils runs a very successful restaurant in Christchurch, Dorset UK
Another pupil runs a very successful stationery business.
I asked them both what makes the ball go further and they both said it was the swing that made the ball go further.
They were both suprised when I said it was the SPEED of the swing – not the swing itself.
They both hit the ball 20 yards further when they used their normal swing but increased the speed of the swing.
Ladies do not hit the ball as far as men but they do hit the ball straighter so by increasing the speed of the forward swing the ball will go further and probably still be on the fairway.
20 yards is a long way – it means that a six iron distance can be acheived with an eight iron resulting in greater accuracy.
So ladies move through the ball faster and watch the ball go further.
CONCLUSION
Use your normal swing and move through faster.
