Charles O’Reilly is called the Links Golfer because he has a passion for raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and he loves playing on links golf courses.
Charles’s objective is to play every links golf course in the UK, approximately 238, to raise money for people who suffer from Alzheimer’s.
Charles has played 100 to date with a best score of 78 at Perranporth in North Cornwall, a SSS 72 course with a length of 6,293 yards.
I have taught Charles for about three years and his handicap has been reduced from 15 to 12 with more reductions to come as we gradually get his back swing under control.
