Tuesday 18th August 2015.
I watched one of my pupils, Martin Young, a member of Brokenhurst Golf Club, Hampshire, UK play at his home course on 14.8.15. Martin had just won the Club Championships and I was keen to see him play on his home course.
After the round I shared a few thoughts with him and then on Monday 17.8.15 he sent me a text saying he had won the Mike Smith Trophy with a 66 in the first round and a new coures record of 63 in the second round. 11 under par for the two rounds. Superb scores.
I have taught Martin for many years ( see Testimonials) and his lowest handicap to date has been +4. He will win many more times as he fully understands his own golf swing and has always been taught facts and not theories.
Brokenhurst is a lovely golf course set in the heart of the beautiful New Forest. It was designed by Harry Colt and 2015 is the Centenary year for the golf club.
