Last year I spent a week at Belton Woods , Grantham, Lincolnshire UK.
Belton Woods is a beautiful golf resort with three golf courses and it has lodges on the perimeter of one of the courses.
My wife & I enjoyed it so much that we returned again this year. My two daughters & three grand children joined is for some of our stay & we had a great time.
I woke up at 5.30 am one morning & took this photograph as it reminded me of my time, when I was 17,cutting the greens at Belton Park Golf Club which, as the crow flies, is less than two miles beyond the trees in the background.
Cutting the greens early in the morning was fantastic, the smell of the freshly cut grass combined with the smell of petrol was evocative to me & I still cut my own lawn at home several times a week as it takes me back to Belton Park.
